Happy birthday, Ad!

People who knew me in Standard 6 knew me as this shy, quiet thing sitting in a corner happily reading away.

Once I went to Form One, it was a different story altogether.

Meet one of my closest, dearest and oldest friends. Adeliene. Spelt with an "e".

She's the reason why I'm the ever so chatty person I am today.

For some odd reason that I have yet to put my finger on, she manages to convince me to do the craziest things that no one else ever could convince me to do.

Like this. This has Adeliene Wong written all over it. She talked me into jumping 43 meters off a bridge. Me. A person who got scared climbing a two-meter high firehose box. How she does it, I'm not quite sure. But she does and I'm kind of glad. :)

I think I've figured out a bit of her magic. Her enthusiasm, optimism, fun-loving nature and cheerful outlook is utterly infectious. *big grin*

Also she's bubbly, zany, witty, artistic and a fantastic writer that comes up with the most random thoughts ever. :) You're looking at a woman with a bright future in writing.

Anyway Ad, thanks for never judging me, for putting up with me when I'm being a brat and for always loving and accepting me as I am. You're a true friend. Happy 24th, babe. Gawd we're old. :p Love you!

:) enthusiastic indeed. Her chattiness can either annoy you or make you join her inanity club.. XP

Didn't we already establish our inanity during the trip? Remember the saying birds of a feather flock together? Well, we're flocking all right.

Eh? How thick is thick? I haven't even laid eyes on it. Mom bought it from Nepal.

Noooo~! You cannot be sick when you come to Melb. Go eat Vitamin C!!!

hmm, thick enough to take up a quarter of my luggage space?.. lol Good thing too actually, it's a reminder to me that I don't need to bring that many clothings so that I can fill my luggage with the stuff that I'm gonna be buying.. XP XP

Yeaa.. the cold killed me yesterday. Even had to take the day off from work. But I think I'm getting better.. I think.. er.. hope.

Pleased to meet you, Nick. Its working out to be a very small world indeed. :)

Didn't think that anyone else would be reading my blog apart from a handful of friends.
