I turn a year older in about two weeks.
Been thinking of what to treat myself to. I have been tossing up between a Antiques Roadshow DVD (Not a show a lot of people go for but I love it) and ...... a hula hoop. Also toyed with the idea of jewellery for a bit. Right now the main contender is the hula hoop.
And not just any hula hoop. I want one of those thick, heavy ones made out of rattan that you can swing around for ages. I actually have one in Malaysia and I used to play with it while watching tv.
The only thing stopping me from attempting to bring my hula hoop over is the thought that it might be confiscated by Customs. Plus getting it to fit through the x-ray machines could be an issue.
So yeah. If I can find a rattan hula hoop in Australia, that will be my birthday present to myself. If not, a heavy hula hoop of any other material will also be acceptable.
Other than that, there is nothing else that I want. :) My parents, John and myTikusfromPerth are coming to visit very soon... and then I'll be off to NZ for a week! I am also very much looking forward to next year because... John and myTikusfromPerth are moving to Melbourne for good!!! *jumps for joy* :D
