As I was about to start packing for NZ, I discovered a tear in my suitcase.



I was hoping it was superficial but that is obviously not the case.




I guess all that country hopping I did last December has finally done my bag in. Still, I am very glad considering I got 7 years faithful service out of it.

Right now I am thinking of getting an incredibly loud replacement... *rubs hands together gleefully* ... like pink with purple polka dots!... something that would be so embarassingly bright that no one else would want to claim it as theirs. Being able to spot it at a distance on a packed baggage carousel would be a major bonus. :)

MUAHHAHHAAHAHA!!




Losing my bag for a week (it went to Dubai. you can still see the sticker on it) has made me realise that black, grey and red are incredibly common luggage colours so I am hoping to get something unusual.
