Practice

My eyesight has deteriorated somewhat. Its become a bit more pronounced now that I realise that I can't see the pastor's face during sermon.

After a few months of procrastination, I've decided to start using the contact lenses I bought.

Its my third time putting them on. Okay.. second, if I don't count the day the optometrist taught me how to use contacts.

It took me about 3 and a half hours for me to get them in today. Also had a minor mishap where I thought I dropped one down the sink. Opened another packet only to realise the original one I dropped had fallen and was resting on the tap. Now I have two contacts for my left eye. -__- *le sigh*

I'm not sure how I'm going to put my contacts on in time for work. Maybe I'll stick to glasses in the mean time and practice with contacts over the weekend.

Right.

Now the next major question. How long will I take to get them out?

Update: Answer to question above. 30 minutes. *beam*

Ayoh! So dramatic.

Don't worry that happened to me before at Andrew's place. I was putting on my contacts and then it just vanished.

A day later, Andrew's mum found it stuck on the mirror. But cannot use anymore because it was too dry already. So teruk.

Hahaha. It was quite embarassing la. Because your mum was vindicated. We were both so sure that it had dropped somewhere and vanished down a sink or something but your mum just said

"wait la, I'll have a look later....it can't be missing"

And then she found it some more.

However old we grow, I think I'll always be the small fart who used to come to your house on Fridays and stay the night.

That and her son's only positive influence...hahaha.

Hahahah.. stuck to the mirror indeed. Well, that's one place I wouldn't have looked, that's for sure. Andrew, your mom is good! :D
